SoundMagic is not a well know brand in Europe, so who are they?

Founded in September 2005. is mainly engaged in designing, researching and developing acoustic products. In November 2006, we established our own production factory, transforming from designing company to design and manufacture of integrated plant. On March 12, 2009, we amended and registered our new trademark “SoundMAGIC”. We are mainly engaged in acoustic products, such as middle and high-end music earphones, wireless earphones, headphone amplifiers, sound boxes, bluetooth and many other similar products.

The Soundmagic E10 comes in basic packaging, but comes with some nice accessories.

What's in the Box?

The SoundMagic E10 is a very cool looking headset with a selection colours to choose from, with great sound quality across any range of music. for an In-Ear headphone set priced under £40.00 is great value compared to similar spec headphones that are double the price for the same features.

The cord SoundMagic have used is thick enough to minimise cord tangle and is the standard 1.2m in length, the cord is terminated with a gold-plated straight 3.5mm jack.

Product update

SoundMagic have upgraded the cord to the twisted pair design, to prevent cord tangle and give the E10 better durability.

I always have found that any product that has gold connectors, is a quality product it’s not that gold is the best of materials for conducting electricity, but the whole point is that gold is malleable and resistant to corrosion; gold also creates a better connection between two devices.

The E10 heads are mainly made from plastic, but are designed to fit perfectly in your ear canal, the advantage of the product being made from plastic, is that the ear phones are light; so this should prevent potential ear fatigue.

The ear pads supplied are the standard silicone pads, silicone is not the best material for comfort or for creating a good seal for noise cancellation, if you want to have a better sound experience, then we suggest you purchase a set of foam replacement tips Comply foam tips they range from £14.99 to £22.99. your sound experience will improve and they will be much more comfortable to wear.Comply Foam Pads

Comply Foam Tip Review

The sound quality that the 10mm sound drivers deliver is really good, the bass is well-balanced and will not overpower most genres of music.

The only bad thing I can say about the E10 In-Ear headphones is that there is no volume controller like the apple headphones, but not really something that would put me off buying them, as the sound quality seals the deal.

The headset has now had 50 hours burn in time and the sound quality has just improved.
